Co-Rectors

Paul and Cheryl Minor

Cheryl and Paul Minor have served as our Co-Rectors since September, 1997. They were married in 1986 after graduating from Boston University together. They both received a Master of Divinity from Virginia Theological Seminary in Alexandria, Virginia, and served parishes in Philadelphia and New York City before coming to Belmont. Together they provide pastoral leadership for our community, preaching, leading liturgy, teaching, and more.

Cheryl and Paul have two children. Their daughter, Rachel-Anne lives in London with her husband and daughter and is a choral conductor. Their son, John Thomas, lives locally and is a member of the 215 Army Band.

The Rev. Cheryl V. Minor, Ph.D.

Cheryl's special area of expertise is children's formation, and she has been instrumental in establishing a Godly Play program at All Saints' that is considered a Center of Excellence both regionally and nationally. Cheryl has a Ph.D. in Psychology. Her thesis was a quasi-experiment testing the impact of Godly Play on the spiritual well-being of children. In addition to her work at All Saints', Cheryl is the Director of the Center for the Theology of Childhood for the Godly Play Foundation where she oversees research, training, curriculum development, and publications for the Foundation. Cheryl also serves as the Dean of the Alewife Deanery for the Diocese of Massachusetts.

The Reverend

Paul L. Minor, DMin.

Paul is a pastor and liturgist at heart and a wonderful teacher. His chief responsibilities at All Saints are to plan our worship, lead adult education offerings, and manage the property and administration. In addition to his MDiv., Paul has a Masters in Psychology and a Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Theology. In 2024, Paul retired as the Assistant Adjutant General in the Massachusetts Army National Guard after 28 years of service in the Guard. Before serving in that role, Paul spent many years as the Senior Chaplain in the Guard, providing leadership for the Chaplain Core in the State and pastoral support to soldiers and their families.

Music ministry.

Dr. Sandy Doneski, Ph.D., directs the choirs at All Saints' Church. Dr. Doneski has a Ph.D. and and M.M.Ed. from The Hartt School, and a B.M.Ed. from Gordon College. She is an associate professor of music at Gordon College. Dr. Doneski is well-known in the field of music education whose special area of expertise is the developing voice. In 2009 she was awarded the Massachusetts Music Education Association (MMEA) 2009 Excellence in General Music Award, presented annually in recognition of a “leader in the field of general music who demonstrated outstanding dedication in the general music field.” Contact Dr. Doneski here: office@allsaintsbelmont.org
