Palm Sunday
8:00 am - Liturgy of the Palms & Holy Eucharist (no music)
10:00 am - Liturgy of the Palms & Holy Eucharist with Choir
Liturgy of the Palms: Both services will begin with the Liturgy of the Palms, where we will bless and distribute palm branches. This part of the service celebrates Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem, as the crowd laid down palm branches in His path, proclaiming Him as the Messiah. We will begin on the outside on the front steps of the Church, weather permitting. The children should join in this part of the service, after which they will adjourn to the Godly Play Room for their usual Sunday School.
Holy Eucharist: Following the Liturgy of the Palms, we will transition into the Holy Eucharist. As part of our observance, we will read the Passion according to Matthew.
NOTE: The 10:00 am service will be onsite and online. You can download a copy of the service leaflet and head to our YouTube channel to watch the service.
